Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (the “University”), acting through the University’s Office of the Associate Vice President for Facilities Planning & Operations, is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors ("Respondents") sometimes referred to as “Contractor” for selection to provide drainage and site improvements for the BINAB Expansion for Health and Human Performance. This construction is for a 16,752 square foot two story building adjacent to the UTRGV Interdisciplinary Academic Building on the Brownsville campus. It has been designed to match the existing building and will have brick veneer and metal roof. The building will house faculty offices and kinesiology related research labs. It will includes one elevator and one set of stairs. Most flooring will be LVT and carpet. The HVAC system will be supported by campuses existing chilled water system. This project will include some site work consisting of driveway and parking modifications, as well as landscaping.
