Specifications include, but are not limited to: 7.1.1 Work is on two separate heating and cooling building systems in two different boiler rooms and one shared chilled water system, further described as follows: The Rhode Island Convention Center has a boiler room with two 12.4 mbh hot water boilers and three 620 ton chillers that are fed by one condenser water loop that consists of three cooling towers. Testing of the hot water boilers will be done monthly. The Dunkin’ Donuts Center has a boiler room with two 1000 mbh and one 800 mbh hot water boilers, one 200 ton chiller and one 180 ton ice chiller, supplied by one cooling tower and two 500 gallon domestic, gas-fired hot water heaters. Testing of three pieces of equipment, as determined by the Center, will occur monthly. 7.1.2 Work includes the providing of labor, materials, and services necessary for a complete and safe water treatment program. This program must be in accordance with this contract document and all applicable codes and authorities including but not limited to, Narragansett Bay Commissions Wastewater Discharge Permit. 7.1.3 Provide monthly on-site service visits with an on-site report of test results and recommended changes or adjustments to treatment programs for all systems. During the cooling season months of May, June, July, August, and September, the chilled water and condenser water systems will be tested twice monthly with an on-site report. 7.1.4 Condenser water cycles of concentration shall be maintained @ 8 or higher. 7.1.5 Condenser water pH range will be maintained between 8.0 and 9.0 and the closed loop pH range shall be between 9.0 and 10.0.
