Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of this project includes all necessary steps to implement an AWOS-III at Quonset State Airport (OQU). These steps shall be in accordance with all necessary Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidance documents to include, but not limited to: • AC 150/5300-13A – Airport Design • AC 150/5220-16E – Automated Weather Observing Systems for Non-Federal Applications • Order JO 6560.20C Siting Criteria for Automated Weather Observing Systems All phases of this project will require coordination between RIAC, the FAA, and airport users. The project Scope of Services consists of but is not limited to the following elements: • Site Selection; • Airport Layout Plan (ALP) Revision and Approval; • AWOS-III Specifications and Design (to include NEPA and/or permitting if required); • AWOS-III Bidding Services; • Construction Oversight; • Other related elements to support above scope items. The final deliverables shall consist of construction contract documents, which shall be complete and shall set forth in detail all requirements for the survey, civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical, security, safety, phasing, and site work, and all necessary permits and approvals required for the AWOS-III project.
