Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Refine the scope of work and approach in collaboration with the Chief Information Officer to ensure the plan outlined herein is aligned with best practices. 2. Conduct a current state assessment with key stakeholders to understand desired capabilities, as well as informing the team of market trends in digital experience and DXP, with emphasis on higher education. 3. Evaluate the current DXP market to inform institutional strategy. Define functional, technical, and security requirements for vendor selection of a DXP. 4. Recommend team structure and skillsets required to support and scale a digital experience platform. 5. Facilitate conversations with the design team to establish guiding principles to govern the design of the DXP. 6. Develop a prioritized, multi-year roadmap and strategy for a digital experience platform to support the needs defined in the current state assessment. Facilitate conversations with the design team to define the minimum viable product for initial release. 7. Advise the selection of a DXP. 8. Define a training plan for the DXP solution comprised of the selected DXP vendor’s training, plus knowledge transfer for WVU’s specific implementation. 9. Define approach for integrating DXP solution with the existing ERP and SIS as needed. 10. Implement the minimum viable product.
