Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.) Perform a complete and thorough architectural review and needs assessment with owners’ representatives, including the Fire department, Facilities Division and other city departments as deemed necessary to evaluate existing conditions and make draft recommendations for a cost effective new Fire Station. This will minimally include program development, concept development and design development. 2.) Architectural, mechanical and electrical design services, development of plans and specifications, bid assistance, construction administration, job site inspections and assistance are also to be included. 3.) Other evaluation and/or design services as the City determines applicable to the project. 4.) During design the Fire Station will remain occupied with people and proper phasing will need to be considered and planned.
