Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal of snow and ice from the street entrance, parking lot, sidewalks, walkways, and entry doors - under 2 inches.; 4.1.1 The vendor shall remove snow and ice from the road entrance, parking lot, sidewalks, entry doorways, and walkways. 4.1.1.1 Vendor must provide their own equipment and supplies such as plows, shovels, blowers, salt, and calcium chloride. 4.1.1.2 Reimbursement will be determined by the following snowfall totals per storm-- not per plow: under 2 inches, 2. inches to 6 inches, 6.1 inches to 10 inches, 10.1 inches to 14 inches, 14.1 inches to 20 inches, 20.1 inches to 24 inches, over 24 inches. National Weather Service Data will be used as final authority in determining amount owed. Deicing will be done immediately after plowing. Sand is not to be used in the parking lot area. In the event of an evening/night snowfall, parking lots will be clear by 7:00 am EST. If snowfall would begin in the day during business hours, the vendor will respond within an hour of being notified that services are needed. They will be reimbursed based upon the final snow fall total. Treatment will be required on all workdays throughout the year except for state recognized holidays. The successful vendor will be provided with a calendar of state recognized holidays.
