Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Health and Human Services (Department) is seeking Long-term Resource support for a variety of projects over the course of multiple years, as defined in this Request for Proposal (RFP) document. This document provides instructions for submitting proposals, the procedure and criteria by which the awarded Bidders will be selected and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the State of Maine (State) and the awarded Bidders. The Department is dedicated to promoting health, safety, resilience, and opportunity for Maine residents. The Department provide a variety of service to Maine residents through multiple offices, including: Aging and Disability Services, Behavioral Health, Maine Center for Disease Control & Prevention, Child and Family Services, Family Independence, Licensing and Certification, MaineCare Services, and Dorothea Dix and Riverview Psychiatric Centers (inpatient psychiatric hospitals). In order for the Department to provide ongoing, high quality services to Maine residents, this RFP is seeking highly skilled, experienced and qualified vendors to provide a variety of supplemental Long-term Resources to support upcoming and ongoing projects as identified by and required to be implemented and carried out by the Department. The RFP is not intended to permanently replace any current State employees or positions.
