Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Depending on when the contract is awarded, quarterly maintenance is to be done every ninety (90) days with the first quarterly maintenance scheduled within thirty (30) days of contract execution. B. Contractor shall schedule the date and time the service is to be performed with the CHP on-site contact one (1) week prior to service C. Contractor shall sign in and sign out with the CHP Area on-site contact or designee upon each service; and sign in and sign out on the Area Vendor sign-in log to provide verification that service has been provided. D. If there are any discrepancies on the invoice concerning hours worked, the CHP will refer to the sign-in sheet to confirm actual hours at the facility. 6. Quarterly Maintenance Shall be conducted every ninety (90) days as identified below and services are to consist of the following: A. Lube all points of friction, including but not limited to, rollers, bearings, gears and guides. B. Ensure the doors are balanced, the motor limiters are properly adjusted, the drive chains are tight and the manual system is in proper working order. C. Inspect and test the function of the doors, including but not limited to, the electrical wiring and connections, chain, chain shafts, gears and bearings. D. Quarterly maintenance supplies shall include, but not limited to, belts, cleaning chemicals, oil, grease, cleaning rags, switches and fuses. E. Oiling all moving parts, align, tighten drive chain on doors, set limit switches. F. Inspect motor and clutch mechanism for wear. G. Inspect bearing, gears, and shafts for wear. H. Check oil and fluid levels, fill when needed. I. Grease chain, shafts, bearings, etc. J. Inspect all electrical parts and wiring including touch pad controls and ground loops. This includes radio receivers. Any work requiring a C-7 or C-10 license will not be covered under this contract. K. Inspect chain for wear, lube, and replace any broken or worn links. L. Inspect gate wheels; grease as needed.
