Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of the renovation of 22,000 square feet area within Darrell K. Royal Stadium’s fifth (5th) floor currently occupied by the Softball, Baseball, and Rowing programs. The renovation will provide a new home for Academic Services for all UT student-athletes and is driven by the relocation of programs due to recently completed and upcoming renovated athletic facilities. The new Academic Services space will provide support to student-athletes, helping assure their success “off the field” by providing rooms where academic counselors can meet in both one-on-one and in groups. It will be a featured stop during recruiting tours and its design will reflect the importance of the educational experience. The space will primarily consist of classrooms, meeting rooms and open collaboration spaces. In addition, a branded entrance, (brand design and executed by Advent) will be incorporated into the project.
