Specifications include, but are not limited to: he general scope of work for this project is as follows: • Install stormwater detention systems in two (2) locations within Parkersburg, WV. These locations are identified as “North Detention System” and “South Detention System” in the Construction Documents. • Connect stormwater detention systems to existing stormwater piping. • Provide and install self-contained engineered-pump-system (Liberty Pumps or equal) to discharge stormwater from detention systems after suitable rain events. See pump requirements on Drawings. • Install bollards (yellow) adjacent to buried engineered-pump-system to prevent vehicular traffic over pump manhole cover. • After installation of detention system and required plumbing, resurface existing asphalt road(s)/alley(s) as specified in the Construction Drawings. • Seed and Straw all areas of disturbance.
