Specifications include, but are not limited to: • The sculpture will be a suspended installation in the entryway / foyer of the new City Hall Building. The primary viewing angle of the sculpture will be from below. With a secondary viewpoint at eye-level. • The sculpture will be required to hang from the ceiling (please see attached architectural plans). The artist is required to take this into consideration when designing sculpture and required support fixtures. • The sculpture must be of high-artistic quality, of suitable scale to the space and made for longterm installation. • The sculpture must require only minimal maintenance. • Interactive sculpture, including kinetic elements, optical devices, sound, etc. will also be considered. The work will be installed in a location that is not physically accessible and therefore should not require tactile interaction. • In anticipation of future construction in the Ketchum City Hall Building, the sculpture must be designed so that it can be moved and stored on a temporary basis if needed.
