Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of LCISD to contract with an independent agency or individual(s) to meet special education needs of its students with disabilities requiring behavioral services in the event that the school district does not have adequate staff to deliver the services agreed upon by ARD committees. Work Locations: Work will be done at LCISD campuses. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Licensure by Texas Education Agency, Licensure by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council, or Licensure by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation • If out of state license, eligible to obtain Texas state licensure 1. Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) that include student observations and recommendations. 2. Meet with campus staff to review FBAs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). 3. Provide professional development when necessary to staff and parents. 4. Maintain complete records documenting student services utilizing the data management system used in the school district. 5. Provide, when requested, representation at ARD committee meetings where expert advice is necessary.
