Specifications include, but are not limited to: Expand existing and/or develop new mitigation and prevention resources and services to reduce COVID-19 related disparities among populations at higher risk and that are underserved; Provide a team to support and assist the Department with grant oversight and management of funding received through the National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities Among Populations at High-Risk and Underserved, Including Racial and Ethnic Minority Populations and Rural Communities (Appendix H). Coordinate with the Department to identify projects and/or services to effectively utilize grant funding. Coordinate competitive procurement efforts in collaboration with the Department to implement services to address health disparities related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including but not limited to: Assisting in the drafting of specific service requirements for Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes, and Request for Applications for approximately twenty-three (23) competitive procurement processes; Providing subject matter support for future competitive procurement processes (e.g. responses to vendor question, assistance at informational meetings, evaluation of proposals received, etc.) Increase/improve data collection and reporting for populations experiencing a disproportionate burden of COVID-19 infection, severe illness, and death to guide the response to the COVID-19 pandemic; Build, leverage, and expand infrastructure support for COVID-19 prevention and control among populations that are at higher risk and underserved; and Mobilize partners and collaborators to advance health equity and address social determinants of health as they relate to COVID-19 health disparities among populations at higher risk and that are underserved.;
