Specifications include, but are not limited to: original 1856 historic courthouse only. 1. Replacing damaged brick at areas as indicated on the drawings. 2. Removal and replacement of brick bands as indicated on the drawings. 3. Removal and replacement of stone windowsills at windows indicated on the drawings to match existing. 4. Repointing mortar joints. 5. Cleaning all exterior exposed masonry surfaces using restoration cleaner after pointing and replacing masonry units 6. Cleaning, patching and repainting wood infill panels, masonry arches above windows. 7. Cleaning patching and repainting front and side entries as indicated on the Drawings 8. Restoration of disturbed landscape areas. 9. Painting Contractors shall be certified by Vermont public health in lead paint abatement. The paint is assumed to contain lead and the contractor shall treat its removal and disposal in accordance with the EMP/EPA procedures and Vermont public health requirements for lead paint removal.
