Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Portland seeks proposals for a partner to install rooftop solar, air source heat pumps, heat pump hot water heaters, and electric vehicle charging stations in homes and small businesses in Portland. For individuals who do not want or are not able to install solar arrays, we seek to facilitate participation in community solar. With this project, we aim to provide easy and affordable ways for people to implement beneficial electrification in alignment with the goals established in our climate action and adaptation plan, One Climate Future. This program seeks to educate the public about beneficial electrification and provide residents with a cost-effective way to electrify some or all of the essential appliances in their homes
