Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SERVICE PROVIDER will provide technical services and project management duties to develop a Local Road Safety Plans (LRSP)s. LRSPs will be made available to Local and/or Tribal (LOCAL/TRIBAL) Agencies throughout the State of Nevada. The DEPARTMENT’s Project Manager will select LOCAL/TRIBAL agencies for LRSPs based on agency readiness. The SERVICE PROVIDER will produce a LRSP for the selected LOCAL/TRIBAL agency. Each LRSP will be issued using the Task Order process outlined in the body of the RFP. ; The SERVICE PROVIDER shall consider and examine: The current SHSP as it may apply to individual jurisdictions Review State HSIP including processes and procedures in place for the DEPARTMENT’s Local Public Agencies (LPA) processes to request and obtain project funding Review LOCAL/TRIBAL missions, visions, and goals Review and report possible safety research or application of information which could be valuable to LRSPs Review any state/LOCAL/TRIBAL program budgets, or any other documents which will impact the recommendations of LRSPs as appropriate Review existing safety related policies and practices that are considered safety countermeasures
