Specifications include, but are not limited to: All Peer Recovery Support Services are part of a larger, statewide system of care for treating individuals with SPMI with or without SUDs and physical health comorbidities. Bidders must develop formal means of collaborating with and ensuring smooth transitions of care as peer specialists work with other providers within the healthcare systems (e.g., hospitals, emergency departments, Bridge Clinic, a walk-in behavioral health clinic open to all State residents), social service sectors (e.g., housing shelters) and government agencies (e.g., corrections, courts, child welfare). They must regularly work with the care team to routinely assess the beneficiary's needs and ensure they are supporting their holistic health and recovery needs.
