Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide a project plan that includes key deliverables and milestones, person(s) responsible, and timeline for delivery. 2. Design and deliver four professional development training presentations including objectives, content, and summative assessment for an intended audience of Early Childhood Educators and those providing professional development early childhood educators (birth through Grade 3). The four presentations are as follows: a. VELS Overview: This is an introductory overview that describes purpose, principles, and organization of the VELS. b. Developing Self Domain: This section of the VELS covers standards in Approaches to Learning, Social and Emotional Development, Growing Moving and Being Healthy. c. Communication and Expression Domain: This section of the VELS covers standards in language development, literacy development, creative arts and expression. d. Learning About the World Domain: This section of the VELS covers standards in mathematics, science and social studies. 3. Provide content that address the following age ranges (Please note that trainings may be broken down into age specific trainings per domain): a. Infant/Toddler b. Preschool c. Kindergarten d. Grades 1, 2, and 3
