Specifications include, but are not limited to: Road Boring as a Term Contract for our Water and Wastewater Divisions. Service will be on an as-needed basis. Boring could be on city streets, county roads, and state highways. Boring will be within the Hot Springs Municipal Utilities Service area. Contract may be extended for four (4) additional 12-month terms upon mutual agreement by city and vendor. Contractor shall provide boring equipment of adequate commercial size and in satisfactory working condition for safe operation. Only workers experienced in boring shall be used in performing work. Contractor should take measures necessary to protect surrounding public and private property, roads, driveways, sidewalks, drains, utilities, trees, and structures from damage due to boring.
