Specifications include, but are not limited to: construction and installation of digester drafttube assemblies, including in line heat exchangers, rebuild of mixer assemblies for each drafttube, application of a new coat of UV resistant bituminous protective coating over insulationmaterial on exterior of digester, removal of two existing boilers with the replacement of a newsingle boiler, and replacement of existing steam pipelines from boiler building to digester No. 1.The goal of the project is to upgrade the boiler system for the digesters and replace worn anddeteriorated digester components. Professional services for this project will include, but are notlimited to, design, project development, construction documents, construction management,quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and bidding services resulting in successful awardof the project.
