Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Site Inventory and AnalysisConduct a site inventory and an analysis documenting historical and existing land uses and limitations. Theinventory and analysis will include:•The lands’ history as it relates to Native Americans, Indigenous and First Nations People;•A base map of existing infrastructure and amenities locations;•A survey to include site boundaries, delineate ROW and identify lot coverage;•Document existing any environmental hazards, t impacts to development including sitedevelopment limitations due to grant funding and other land limitations.Task 2: Community EngagementThe selected consultant will have demonstrated approach to meeting with community members, engaging withdiverse users and balancing the needs of the community with the capacity of the park. Consultants will meet withCity Project Team and interested stakeholder(s), including: Center City Little League, Boys & Girls Club, Kids on theBall, BPRW Recreation Division., etc.Anticipated approaches to community engagement include:oConduct stakeholder interviews with key partners. Engage with BPRW staff; conductinformational design charrette and meetings with BPRW staff and other stakeholders/city staffearly in the project;oHold one public informational meeting to identify needs/wants of Roosevelt Park;oConduct user intercept surveys during active use of the park, include web-based- alternativesand in-person surveys.
