Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Field review/inspection to establish full existing conditions of signs, drainage, bridge structure, utilities, curbing, sidewalks, stormwater and environmental concerns, lighting, etc. b. Perform geotechnical subsurface exploration. c. Noise Balloting d. Collaborate with RIDOT on grant applications including all associated documentation for competitive planning and potential capital programming grant applications, benefit cost analysis and related efforts as necessary e. Prepare Route 4 Missing Movement Bridge Type Study. The anticipated new bridge structure will consist of six (6) curved spans and two (2) abutments. f. Saddle Brook Culvert Extensions: The new Rt. 4 NB to I-95 SB ramp will require the crossing over of Saddle Brook and brook culvert extensions. Approximately three (3) existing culverts will require precast reinforced concrete culvert structure extensions at these locations. g. Rt. 4 NB to I-95 SB Retaining Walls: Retaining walls will be necessary to ramp from Rt. 4 NB to I- 95 SB and transitioning from the abutments to the points of terminus on Rt. 4 and I-95. A retaining wall is also anticipated along a segment of the relocated I-95 SB to support the interstate in the vicinity of Saddle Brook. h. Rt. 403 Ramps Retaining Walls: It is anticipated that the ramps at Post Road (Rt. 1), and West Davisville Road (Ramps WD-C & WD-D) will require retaining walls.
