Topographic Survey for Design a.Reference Exhibit B-5, EB5.15.5 Topographic Survey D. Right-of-way Survey a.Reference Exhibit B-5, EB5.16 Surveying for Right-Of-Way E. Right-of-way Mapping a.Reference Exhibit B-5, EB5.17 Right-of-way Mapping F. Pre-construction Survey a.Reference Exhibit B-5, EB5.18.2 Pre-Construction; The Contractor shall coordinate with local maintenance & operations (M&O) to identify problems that need to be addressed. Inspect all existing culverts within the project limits and determine which are expected to be functionally or structurally inadequate during the design life of this project. Determine which culverts need to be cleaned. The Contractor shall also determine where erosion is a problem. Inspect all ditches and determine which need to be modified and/or cleaned to handle the design discharge required by the Alaska Highway Preconstruction Manual. Determine where existing roads have problems due to surface water or groundwater. Document results with text and visuals as appropriate.
