Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks consultant expertise for the development of a study to implement Transportation Demand Management (TDM) projects that are attainable, enforceable, business-sensitive, and outcomes-based within the University Medical District (UMED) area of the Municipality of Anchorage. The goal is to generate projects, policies, incentives and approaches that reduce single-occupancy vehicles (SOV) trips arriving at or within the district; an increase in the use of alternative travel modes; more efficient parking utilization; a reduction of vehicle miles traveled (VMT); and/or reduction of emissions. In addition to exploring this TDM approach, this study will also identify key companion programs or legislation that are intricately linked with TDM.
