Specifications include, but are not limited to: Approximately 1,800 lineal feet of new 42‐inch HDPE water transmission main to replace an existing 36‐inch ductile iron main. Work includes installation of owner‐procured valves and fittings for tie‐ins to the existing 36‐inch ductile iron pipeline and a pipeline creek crossing with a 36‐inch ductile iron pipe supported on driven pipe pile supports. Project also includes sections of existing water and sewer main relocations, connections of various connecting drain lines and appurtenances, use of lightweight foam and imported structural backfill in the pipeline trench, associated dewatering, excavation and backfill work, surface asphalt and concrete demolition, surface restoration and traffic control.
