Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Provide support as needed to facilitate development of the project’s environmental document and design b. Conduct a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment to identify the potential of encountering contaminated soils along the project corridor. c. Develop the project’s Abbreviated Design Study Report d. Develop Preliminary and Final PS&E design assemblies to re-pave the project corridor. This includes: a. Automatic Vehicle Classifier design b. Identifying, removing and replacing non-compliant ADA ramps and sidewalks c. Identifying, removing and replacing damaged curb & gutter d. Sign and striping designs e. Identify and define needed Temporary Construction Easements (TCE) and Temporary Construction Permits (TCP) to facilitate construction activities f. Independently coordinate PS&E assemblies with the Alaska Railroad Corporation’s railroad crossing design upgrades g. Provide design support during bidding and construction
