Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will specifically include 6 vehicle inspection lanes, an office building of approximately 3,266 GSF and 3 truck inspection lanes and a truck office building of approximately 1,120 GSF. The office building will include support space for the California Highway Patrol. Supporting site improvements will include transitioning to the new nine (9) lane Border Protection Station from westbound I-10 and then again back to I-10. The project will also require frontage road improvements, a new off/on ramp from westbound I-10 to East Hobsonway (west of the Border Protection Station), a photovoltaic array, site utility improvements, storm detention basin, landscape, irrigation, signage and striping. The existing westbound Hobsonway ramp may be relocated based on the final design to be pursued.
