Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide training and wellness support for frontline health care workers to help them meet Vermont residents’ current mental health needs. Examples of groups that could benefit from trainings include emergency department personnel who are responding to an increased demand for crisis services as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and mental health professionals responding to the surge in mental health treatment needs. Training shall address how to care for oneself in addition to how to support other people’s mental health needs. Training shall include trauma-informed and trauma-specific care for these groups in addition to general wellness support. Training shall be based in adult learning theory
