Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive proposals from vendors who can offer experienced medical case management services. All medical case management services will be performed off site except as necessary when dealing with injured employees on issues of vocational rehabilitation services, which may be performed at specific work locations across the State of Maine that may require travel. Medical case management services could include, but are not limited, to the following: 24/7 nurse case management; medical chart reviews; coordination of independent medical evaluations; coordinating appropriate medical care; second surgical medical opinions; medical management plan; integrated care management services; transitional job matrix-development implementation, revision and evaluation of such; vocational rehabilitation services; job analysis services; onsite educational programs; life are plan development and implementation; encrypted electronic reports and transfer; bill negotiations on durable medical equipment and/or hospital care, which may necessitate clerical support and photocopying services. The required services and expectations for medical case management services include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide medical case management services as assigned by the Department. Accept only referrals that have been approved by the Department
