Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, hereinafter referred to as "the City", seeks proposals in response to this Request for Proposal from experienced and qualified healthcare providers and doctors to fulfill the role of public health officer for a term of one year. The City invites doctors and third‐party healthcare facilities to respond to this RFP. Healthcare facilities responding shall indicate the name of the doctor intended to serve in the public health officer capacity. A broad range of services and programming are needed to contain COVID‐19. Mitigation and prevention efforts for COVID‐19 shall include vaccination outreach; communication of approved testing centers; support for isolation or quarantine as recommended by the CDC; identify support for vulnerable populations to access medical or public health services, public health surveillance (e.g., monitoring case trends, genomic sequencing for variants); enforcement of public health orders; public communication efforts; recommendations for the procurement of personal protective equipment; support for prevention, mitigation, or other services in congregate living facilities (e.g., nursing homes, incarceration settings, homeless shelters, group living facilities) and other key settings like schools; ventilation improvements in congregate settings, health care settings, or other key locations; and other public health responses.
