Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project seeks to create an educational environment that aligns the educational needs to the facilities. Currently, Davies’ believes the educational needs are compromised by the existing facilities. It will be the successful respondents’ obligation to present a minimum of three (3) and up to five (5) conceptual options including but not limited to the following: • Addition(s) to the existing building – identify multiple location(s) where the additions could be located. Respondent to identify the benefits and challenges to each location; • Renovations to and within the existing building – Note: Davies’ believes this to be the most challenging solution as existing space is currently allocated and there is insufficient unallocated space within the Building; • a new standalone building; 1. Program, Design and Administer a Project that is within the Owner’s budget. 2. Design, assist with permitting and bidding phases in accordance with the attached preliminary Project Schedule. The Project goal includes occupancy of the completed Project for Fall semester, 2023. After occupancy, demolition and removal of the old Modular Building and appurtenances are to be removed and the site restored. 3. Provide comprehensive Construction Phase services in accordance with the State’s standard AIA Construction Contract(s) – assume Design/Bid/ Build Delivery Methodology. 4. The Design shall be in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, ordinances, bylaws, codes as well as RIDE guidelines relative to capital construction projects at Schools.
