Specifications include, but are not limited to: Spanish translation services of educational, training and other DPS related materials to accommodate Spanish-speaking individuals. A. Contractor must provide an electronic master file of materials currently requiring translation services. B. Contractor must not add his/her name or company name as having provided translation services on any part of the materials. C. Word count must be determined by the actual word count of the English version of the materials. Spaces are not included. D. Some examples of materials which require translation services are below. They include, but are not limited to: 1. Handbook – approximately 40,226 words 2. Application for Change of Address (DL-64) – approximately 1000 words 3. Application for a Texas Driver License or ID card (DL-14A) – approximately 1,398 words E. Word count must be generated from an electronic file for the English text (including header, footer, etc.).
