Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 PURPOSE The purpose of this Request for Bid is to procure, on behalf of NH Bureau of Graphic Services, one color production printer on a 60 month Fair Market Value lease with 60 months of full service maintenance and supplies in accordance with the requirements of this bid request and any resulting order. 3.2 MULTIPLE ENTRIES 3.2.1 Bidders may offer more than one brand/model that meets or exceeds the minimum functional requirements. However, bear in mind that lowest price will dictate the winning solution among qualifying bid offers. For each model offered, please submit printer specifications, any proposed optional accessories and pricing. 3.3 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE PRINTER 3.3.1 It must be sheetfed. 3.3.2 It must form images on paper by toner electrophotography. 3.3.3 It must be able to digitally scan, copy and print and must include all parts, boards and internal software necessary to do so. 3.3.4 It must be able to print and photocopy at the speeds specified, or faster. 3.3.5 It must offer, at minimum, the rated monthly duty cycle specified, or higher. 3.3.6 It must offer a print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi or higher. 3.3.7 It must be capable of duplex printing. 3.3.8 It must be able to print without difficulty on recycled paper having 30% postconsumer waste content. NH State law requires the use of 30% PCW content in printing papers whenever possible. 3.3.9 The device, including all subsystems and parts, must be brand new. No demos, refurbished, remanufactured or used equipment allowed. 3.3.10 It must be a stable model that has been user-proven in the United States’ market for at least one year. 3.3.11 It must not be a discontinued model no longer in production at the time of bid submission. 3.3.12 It must be Energy Star® or Rohs compliant and feature automatic power saving modes to conserve power when the printer has not been active for a period of time. 3.3.13 It must be provided with a dedicated ESP Power Manager or comparable electrical power conditioner of sufficient capacity to protect against surges and other disturbances in the power supply. 3.4 DEVICE SPECIFICATIONS 3.4.1 Color print speed of 80 pages per minute or higher, based on 8.5” x 11” page size. 3.4.2 Device must be production-level printers, i.e., robustly built to withstand large monthly print volumes.
