Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide design services, which generally include the following as a minimum: • The design team should support the City in the CMAR project delivery and participate in the CMAR evaluation and selection process. • Kickoff Meeting with City and CMAR • Scheduling and Cost Development Meeting with CMAR; the City will select an Independent Cost Estimator (ICE) for cost development, the consultant will review the ICE estimate with the CMAR. • Develop and obtain all permits • Complete design of the shared facility building and necessary components o Shared Facility with modern features and comprehensive assessment of critical needs o Fire Station with outgoing access to right-of-way and incoming access at the rear of the building through controlled security fencing o Public Safety Communications Center/PSAP • Building components should include: Architectural features, landscaping, and irrigation, fencing and security, separate guest, and employee parking lots. • The desired location for the Shared Facility is known o Feasibility level support to evaluate other sites may be necessary o Demolition of existing site structures may also be necessary
