Specifications include, but are not limited to: shredding and confidential Materials destruction services on behalf of all State of Maine Departments and Agencies as defined in this RFQ. The State employees at all levels, and in all offices, handle materials that include confidential information, including client records and other types of sensitive and legally protected information. The State is obligated to ensure that confidential information is not subject to unauthorized disclosure, either intentionally or accidentally. It is policy to ensure that all Material is disposed of in a manner that: (a) prevents the disclosure of confidential information and (b) maximizes recycling of recyclable Material. This service requires bidders to have a Mobile operation.
