Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of California, Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS-PD) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to cover the requirements of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) for Auto Parts, GM®, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contract resulting from this solicitation will be mandatory for CHP and available for use by participating local agencies. State agencies other than CHP must have DGS-PD approval prior to use. For the purpose of this solicitation, local government agencies are defined as “any city, county, city and county, district or other local governmental body or corporation empowered to expend public funds for the acquisition of goods, information technology, or services,” reference Public Contract Code (PCC) section 10298 (a) (b) and 10299 (b).
