Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Clark County Desert Conservation Program (COUNTY) has identified a need to assist the National Park Service in constructing fencing for the Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument (Tule Springs). This project shall consist of three different fence configurations as follows: post and cable fence (approximately 3,600 feet), post and cable fence with attached desert tortoise exclusionary fencing (i.e., Combo Fence; approximately 5.0 miles), and desert tortoise exclusionary fence (approximately 25,100 feet). This project shall also include the construction of seven desert tortoise guards, four swing gates, one wildlife culvert, one pedestrian zig zag access gate, one horse gate, and approximately 50 tortoise shade structures. The approximate location where fencing and related project components shall be installed is shown in Attachment A, Project Components.
