Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 E-Content delivery platforms • Solution that allows borrowing of a range of electronic materials, including books, audiobooks, movies, music, images, television, comics, newspapers, and/or magazines. • Vendor may provide the discovery platform that can be loaded by content previously purchased by the library, or may provide a platform that contains a broad selection of titles that meet the needs of library patrons. 2.2 E-Content delivery subscriptions • Subscription solution that allows borrowing of a range of electronic materials, including books, audiobooks, movies, music, images, television, comics, newspapers, and/or magazines. 2.3 E-Content available for license or purchase • Solution that allows the library to purchase or license electronic material or educational content, including books, audiobooks, movies, music, images, television, comics, newspapers, and/or magazines that can be loaded onto a discovery platform supported by the library system. 2.4 Databases and online learning services • Subscription or licensing solution for BCLS to offer online database and online learning resources which support patron research and homework needs in high-demand subject areas, including, but not limited to: 2.41 Arts & crafts, business information, career resources, genealogy research, homework help & reference, investment, language learning, literature, and publishing.
