Specifications include, but are not limited to: pe of Work The selected Bidder will complete cleaning and repair services for one (1) 8,500- gallon horizontal storage tank (8'D x 22'L), that will be drained by the Department prior to the start of work, located on the premises at the Glencliff Home (hereinafter referred as ‘the worksite’). The selected Bidder will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the services, which include, but are not limited to: Scheduling all visits to the worksite to occur between September 29, 2021 and June 30, 2022 at dates and times approved by the Department. Ensuring the purposes of the scheduled visits include, but are not limited to: Inspections and preparation of the storage tanks. Deliveries. Cleaning and maintenance. Removal of materials, tools, and equipment. Removing all loose rust and scale from the bottom half of the tank with wire brushes and hand scrapers in accordance with The Society for Protective Coatings’ Surface Preparation Specification #2 (SSPC-SP 2). Coating the exterior of the bottom half of the tank with S646 Sherwin Williams epoxy. Performing a dry interior tank cleanout to remove sediment. Cleaning all rusted and abraded areas on the interior of the tank using any necessary power tools. Strip coating all interior seams and welds. Applying Arcor S 16 epoxy liner to the interior of the tank. Placing debris in containers provided by the Department, as directed by the Department.
