Specifications include, but are not limited to: construction of stormwater management infrastructure improvements on Main and Russell Streets in the downtown commercial district consisting of approximately 4,000 linear feet of 12-inch to 30-inch stormwater pipelines, 75 stormwater structures, 12,000 square yards of roadway reconstruction, 2,500 square yard of sidewalk reconstruction and $70,000 in lighting improvements, and related appurtenances as necessary and appropriate. Concurrent with this project, the Plymouth Village Water & Sewer District (PVWSD), a separate utility that serves water and sewer to the Town, is designing a Main Street water and sewer improvement project. The Town and PVWSD are committed to working collaboratively on the design and the construction of both projects. The Scope of Engineering Consulting Services for the Downtown Stormwater Management Infrastructure Improvements Project includes, but is not limited to: design services, permitting assistance, bid document preparation, construction oversight/administration, compliance with EDA requirements, project coordination and administration assistance, and other general engineering tasks as they arise. Special emphasis is to be placed on coordination and cooperation with PVWSD and their consulting engineers to effectively integrate their project with the Town project to allow for a "single project" approach for bid documents and construction to eliminate duplication and redundancies as well as minimize disruption on Main Street.
