Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide asphalt resurfacing of the City impound storage lot. A. Vendor must mark the area on all asphalt failures at least two (2) feet wider than the failed section in all directions, keeping all marked areas as square as possible. The marked lines must be saw-cut to a depth of at least four (4) inches. B. Vendor must excavate and remove the failed asphalt surface and sub-base area. The total excavation must be removed to a depth of ten (10) inches below surface grade, keeping the surface of the excavated areas as level as possible. All excavated materials must be removed and hauled away. C. The failed area must then be tamped, leveled, and filled with a 3,000-psi concrete mix to a depth level within two (2) inches on the surface. The full depth of concrete must be eight (8) inches. The surface of the poured concrete must be left rough raked. The concrete must then be allowed to cure for a period of three (3) days.
