Specifications include, but are not limited to: Coarse Aggregate shall conform to the requirements of Section 1004 of the Standard Specifications. Gradation requirements for the type specified shall be in accordance with those provided in Section 1004.2 and these Special Provisions. Acceptance samples shall be taken from the District’s Maintenance Yards. Flat and elongated particles will be tested and measured in accordance with ASTM D4791. A maximum 5 % of a 5:1 aspect ratio will be allowed. GRADED AGGREGATE BASE COURSE (GABC) shall conform to the requirements of Section 1005, Type B of the Standard Specifications. RIP RAP shall conform to the requirements of Section 1006. AASHTO # 1 shall conform to the requirements of Section 1004
