Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Providing direct therapy to children with disabilities, ages 3-21 as specified within each students’ Individualized Education Plan (IEP). 2. Providing consultative services to the District. 3. Conducting fine motor, sensory, and visual motor assessments for initial and reevaluations with interpretation. 4. Participation in diagnostic evaluations/staffing and IEP meetings. 5. Preparation of required reports including Medicaid and documentation of services. 6. Consultation on assistive technology and equipment needs. 7. Developing and conducting training for classroom teachers/paraprofessionals and other implementers of the students’ goals and objectives. 8. Providing Homebound services as needed. 9. Providing Extended School Year (“ESY”) coverage for services deemed necessary as required by a student’s IEP. 10. Providing other therapy-related assistance to the IEP team/school district as needed. 11. Engaging in proper supervision and scheduling of COTA(s) should OT utilize assistants.
