Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Delaware is requesting proposals from qualified design teamsfor design services related to the installation of multiple natural gas fired generators to serve 4 separate buildings on Campus, in order to accommodate their growing need for emergency and critical power. These buildings are Brown Lab, Colburn Lab, Drake Lab and Spencer Lab. The location of these generators is anticipated to be in a green space adjacent to the loading dock of Colburn Lab. In addition to electrical engineering for these generators, the selected firm will be responsible for civil/ landscape/structural and architectural designrequired to locate these six generators on site, including the design of earth retaining structures and campus appropriate visual screens,and the performance of an air dispersion study for this array of generators.
