Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Middlebury seeks proposals for the scraping, stabilizing, and painting of wooden sills, sashes, and casings on fourteen exttherior windows at Ilsley Public Library. Bids are due on Friday August 6, 2021 at 9 am. Start date must be after August 13th and completion is expected by September 30. Contractor shall submit an anticipated schedule based on this information. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with “Ilsley Window Project” written on the outside. 1.1 MATERIALS All materials shall comply with all applicable building codes for public buildings. All materials shall be compatible with each other. Paint materials shall be code compliant materials to match existing for repainting or touch up of all surfaces damaged. Color shall be white, matching the existing. Contractor shall include the specification and data sheet of the paint be supplied. Apply two coats of latex paint over an oil based primer underneath. Paint shall be applied according to the specifications provided with the product.
