The solution should provide at a minimum provide secure access based on user privilege, remote access, mobile device compatibility, enhanced data security, patient information and education, (patient education handouts, discharge and teaching instructions, etc), interoperability, automatic carryover of demographic data, automated carryover of vital signs history, automated data syncing, built-in normative values and best practice guidelines, customizable and specialty templates, health history, consent for treatment, predictive analytics, cross-continuum analytics, medication management and interaction, messaging and communication, patient portal registration, patient portal scheduling, patient portal, automated appointment reminders, patient portal add/remove/edit visits, scheduling check-in, scheduling multiprovider scheduling in one portal, patient scheduling access, document management, practice management, inventory management, managerial and financial reporting, medical scheduling ( staff). This will result in improvements in efficiency, agility, innovation, safety, security and potential cost savings. The solution must meet industry performance standards, offer the necessary redundancy and contingency features to meet staff needs, and provide state-of-the-art technology enhancements to improve user experience and minimize service disruption.
