Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 Routine veterinary care (diagnostics, examinations, treatment, castrations, etc.) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Independent contracted veterinarian will also be on an as needed basis as mutually agreed upon between the independent contracted veterinarian and the Prison Ranch management at rates negotiated as a result of this solicitation. Providing that 24 hours of notice is given to the DVM, there will not be a call fee between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday. 3.1.2 Emergency care may be needed and could be required at any time within a 24-hour day, the contractor would need to be able to respond under such circumstances.
