Specifications include, but are not limited to: TSRP will provide services to the SHSO and be available Monday through Friday during regular state office hours and will provide 40 activity hours per week. TSRP must be in good standing with the Maine State Bar TSRP must pass a background check. Duties and Responsibilities The Duties and Responsibilities of the Maine Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor services include but are not limited to: Providing resources to law enforcement investigators and state prosecutors for the investigation and prosecution of traffic safety crimes, especially OUI, as needed and requested by those agencies. Developing expertise of new prosecutors and law enforcement officers by increasing their training, knowledge, and experience in impaired driving prosecution, especially in OUI Drug cases
