Specifications include, but are not limited to: Delaware State University is in the process of replacing the Wellness & Recreation Center (WRC) cardio equipment. We are soliciting proposals for 12 pieces of equipment (10 cardio and 2 strength) needed to replace our current equipment and fill the needs of the student, faculty, staff and community memberships of the WRC. Interested vendors shall provide the following: a) A proposal of the most up-to-date equipment that can meet today’s fitness trends; equipment should rival that of a commercial gym or recreation centers within a university setting. b) A plan to replace the 10 pieces of cardio equipment and 2 pieces of strength equipment currently in use within the WRC with a comparable quantity (see Attachment A for a list of desired equipment). Pieces should include a mix of cross trainers, treadmills, elliptical, stair machines, bicycles and/or unique strength pieces offered by the vendor. c) A plan to deliver and install the proposed equipment (inside delivery is required). All equipment must be delivered, installed and supported by manufacturer, or by a local dealer/designee. Manufacturer, or designee, must have a technician on site during install who is appropriately certified by the manufacturer to install the equipment.
