Town of Rumford Request for Proposal The Town of Rumford is requesting proposals for bids on maintenance repairs and painting of the Municipal Building clock tower, painting of peeling areas on building exterior, and repairing and painting a water damaged ceiling in the Rumford Falls Auditorium that needs: Interior Ceiling: Scaffolding for the repair of the interior ceiling Remove all debris of loose sheetrock and peeling paint Repair sheetrock in Auditorium ceiling Scrape and painting of auditorium ceiling and beam by priming and providing 2 coats of high quality finish paint to match existing colors. Clock Tower/Exterior: Remove all loose paint Prep Clock Tower by cleaning and etching surface Caulk and seal transition areas of clock tower using SherMax Elastomeric sealant Prime and apply 2 coats of high quality finish paint Proposals should be submitted to: Municipal Building Painting Bid Town of Rumford 145 Congress Street Rumford, ME 04276 All proposals must be submitted no later than 1 p.m. on June 28th, 2021.
